According to the American Animal Hospital Association, 25% more pets COULD have been saved if only ONE pet first aid technique was applied prior to veterinary treatment. Knowing pet first aid can be the difference between life and death, between temporary and permanent disability and between a short recovery and a long recuperation. For all our pets do to enrich our lives, we should be prepared to help them when an emergency arises. For more information, see our Pet First Aid page and Calendar.

Professor

Professor is a male Lab mix who is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 65lbs.  He is an affectionate, happy boy with a typical fun-loving Lab personality.  He likes to play, gets along with other dogs who match his energy level, and is eager to be your new friend.  Professor has been working on some basic manners while at the shelter such as heel, sit, no jump - and he is quite the star! Come and meet him in person - he won’t disappoint!  Recommend children 9+years.
