4 Hour Pet Tech Pet CPR, First Aid and Care
Seminar
This is a comprehensive, hands-on program. Materials covered include
Bleeding and Shock, Restraining and Muzzling,Priorities and Concerns of
Emergency Situations, Primary Pet Assessment, Rescue Breathing, CPR,
Fracture and Limb Injuries, Insect Bites and Stings, Snake Bite,
Seizures, First Aid Kits, Emergency Preparedness Kits, Heat and Cold
Injuries, Pet Vitals, Poisoning and Poisonous Substances, Choking and
Snout to Tail Assessments. Everyone will have their own stuffed dog to
practice on as well as receive a handbook.
8 Hour Pet Tech PetSaver Seminar
This class covers healthy living, priorities and concerns of
emergency situations, restraining and muzzling, primary pet assessment,
rescue breathing, CPR, bleeding, shock and fractures, poisoning, heat
and cold injuries, insect bite and stings, snakebites, snout to tail
assessment, choking, vitals, making a pet first aid and emergency
preparedness kits and dental care. It includes a handbook and the book
Knowing Your Pet's Health.
3 Day Pet Tech Instructor Program
The 3 day Instructor begins with the eight hour PetSaver Program
followed by an extra hour after class. Day Two is marketing, teaching
techniques and a round robin. Day Three is class presentations. It
includes the Instructor manual, access to all powerpoint presentations
and 10 free handbooks with your first order. There is a yearly fee of
$120 payable to Pet Tech at the Instructor training. This fee is for
telephone support and listing on Pet Tech's website.
Let's Go Fido
This is an hour and a half seminar that covers everything you need
to know to travel safely with your pet. From kenneling to driving across
town to driving across the country. It includes the book Let's Go Fido.
Emergency and Disaster Planning with your Pets
This is an hour and a half long seminar that covers everything you
need to know on how to plan for and to evacuate in any emergency
situation. It includes a downloadable e-book.
Salon Sanitation
This is an hour and a half long certificated seminar that covers the
why's and how's in keeping your salon clean and reduce or eliminate
transfers of contagions between pets. It includes an e-workbook (which
must be completed satisfactorly (spell check that please) to earn the
Certificate of Course Completion, as well as an e-handbook to go along
with and take notes.
